(1)门电位器式压力传感器 机都是靠润滑油润滑的，一旦润滑油压力过低，就会因缺油发生干摩擦，造成剧烈的磨损和发热，从而损坏机。因此机上均安装有油压测量装置，以监测润滑油压力，目前机多采用电位器式压力传感器测量油压。该传感器由一个波纹膜片和一个滑线电位器组成。在机油压发生变化时，波纹膜片产生位移，带动电位器上的触点滑动，从而改变电阻值。单线制下该传感器带一个接线端，其中的电位器通过一根导线与机控制单元或油压指示表连接，另一极则搭铁。当与油压指示表连接时，若电位器阻值改变，油压指示表内部线圈通过的电流发生变化，从而带动指针偏转，指出润滑油压力值。油压增高时，传感器可变阻值下降，输出电流增大，油压降低时，情况正好相反。当与控制单元连接时，传感器电位器与ECU内部上拉电阻分压后，产生一个随电位器阻值变化而变化的电压，机ECU根据这一电压的变化测得机润滑油压力。这种油压测量装置中的滑线电位器具有机械触点，并且该触点要通过最大达100mA的电流，而机存在较大的振动，使得该传感器的机械、电气寿命受到一定影响。(2)开关式压力传感器 润滑油油压开关也用于检测机油压，它由膜片、触点和弹簧组成。工作运行过程中，当油压开关的膜片没有压力作用时，触点在弹簧力的作用下闭合；当有压力作用于膜片时，弹簧被压缩，触点张开。开关式压力传感器一般与油压指示灯相连，开关式机油压力指示器的工作运行原理图。当机没有润滑油油压时、膜片本受压力作用，油压开关的触点闭合，油压指示灯亮；当机油压正常时，膜片受到压力作用、压缩弹簧，使触点张开，油压指示灯熄灭。也有的机油压力传感器将电位器式和开关式结构结合在一起，若负极搭铁，其接线柱有两个，其中一个输出电位器阻值变化信号，另一个输出开关信号。
