1）海口干式变压器运到工地安装前一般需进行吊心检查。容量在630kVA及以下，运输过程中无异常情况及对道路平坦的短途运输，运输后无怀疑时才允许不吊心检查(好能参加制造厂器身总装，质量符合要求；运输中进行了监督，知道无剧烈振动、冲撞或严重颠簸等)。
2)吊心检查应尽可能在室内进行，并应有清洁、干操的环境。如果不得已在室内检查时，皮趁晴天、无风沙时进行，否则应搭篷布以防风沙和雨雪。
3)吊心检查时，周围空气温度不宜低于0℃，海口干式变压器器身温度不宜低于周围空气温度。用在海口干式变压器底部加热时，应将器身温度提高到比周围气温高出10℃左右，也可用真空滤油机来加热，以防检查铁心时受潮。
4)雨天或雾天进行吊心检查只允许在室内进行，此时室温要求较室外高10℃左右，室内的相对湿度也不应超过75%，且海口干式变压器运到室内后应停放24h以上后再进行。
5)器身在空气中停留的时间(接触空气时间自放油开始算起)应不超过下列规定：在空气相对湿度不大于65%的干燥天气不超过l6h；在空气相对湿度不大于75%的潮湿天气不超过12h。(注油时间不包括在内)。
6)吊心前应准备好各种活动扳手、塞尺、白纱带、黄蜡带、白布、绝缘纸板(或红、青钢纸)，无水酒精，以及汽油、垫放铁心的道木或型钢和存放海口干式变压器油的油桶等。油箱的密封材垫一般采用耐油橡皮条或橡胶皮。橡皮条直径为12-25mm，橡胶皮厚度为6—10mm。衬垫应涂以虫胶漆液。虫胶漆液采用无水酒精(纯度为96%以上)和洁净无杂质的漆片按重量为1：4预先调制而成。
吊心的起重设备可用电动桥式起重机或“神仙葫芦”。吊心前用干净瓶子对海口干式变压器取油样.以便进行耐压试验和化学分析。如果不合格，应换合格油或用滤油机进行过滤。

1)清除铁心及油道中的油泥，检查硅钢片是否有过热现象，铁心应无变形.
2)检查所有螺栓应紧固，并有防松措施；绝缘螺栓应无损坏，防松绑扎完好.
3)检查铁心接地铜片是否完好，接地是否可靠.
4)检查接地片接触是否良好，有无缺少和报坏。打开夹件与铁轭接地片后，铁轭螺杆铁心、铁轭与夹件、螺杆间的绝缘应良好，用2500V兆欧表摇测。其绝缘电阻均应在2Ω以上。如果铁轭采用钢带绑扎时，也同样检查钢带对铁轭的绝缘应良好。铁心应无多点接地现象。
对绕组作如下检查：
1)检查绕组轴向压紧有无松动，夹件与垫块有无松动或变形，可用纸板垫紧。
2)检查绕组外形是否完整，绝缘有无损伤，绝缘层应完整无缺损，变位现象，表面有无积污，有无移位、松开。
3)检查绕组绝缘是否老化，相间隔板是否固定牢固，两侧间隔是否大致均匀.各组绕组应排列整齐，间隔均匀，油路无堵塞，油箱底部无杂物和水。
4)引出线绝缘包扎紧固、无破损、拧弯现象，引出线焊接良好，固定牢靠，其引线夹板应坚固;引出线裸露部分应无毛刺和尖角，焊接应良好;引出线与套管的连接应牢靠，接线正确。
5)各部分导体之间的距离(间距和爬距)是否符合要求。
6)摇测绕组的绝缘电阻。
7)调压分接海口干式变压器的分接头接触良好、弹力正常。转动位置与指示位置一致.转动灵活，密封良好。
同时记录发现的问题和处理的结果。检查处理完毕，应当用合格的海口干式变压器油冲洗（冲洗时为防静电感应，不得触及引出线头.以免触电)。并从箱底油塞或阀门将油放完。器身吊入油箱前，应仔细检查油箱内有否遗留金属和其他杂物，后放回器身。
8)在农村投运现场由于条件较差.工器具和测试设备较缺乏，故上述全面吊心检查一般应放在专门修试车间进行。而安装现场只作简单吊心检查，目的是对运输后结构有否变动进行复核。
