PT燃油系统的特点(1)PT燃油系统的优点1)喷油正时由配气凸轮轴决定，安装PT泵时无需调整喷油正时。2)PT燃油系统结构紧凑，整个系统中只有喷油器中有一副精密偶件，精密偶件数较采用柱塞式喷油泵的燃油系统大为减少。3)由于高压只在喷油器中产生，PT泵以较低的压力工作运行(出口压力约为0.8～1.2MPa)。没有高压油管也没有高压接头，消除了压力波动的问题。它可以采用很高的喷油压力，燃油雾化质量好，而且也不存在高压漏油的问题。4)由于PT燃油系统是利用油压调节的，在油泵磨损时，具有自动补偿的能力，供油量不会下降，不用重新调整。5)有相当数量的燃油(约80%)经过喷油器回流，可对喷油器进行冷却和润滑，并把可能存在于油路中的气泡带走。回流的燃油带着喷油器的热量直接流网浮子油箱，在冬季，还可以起到加热油箱中燃油的作用。6)喷油器可单独更换，因此不必像柱塞泵那样需在试验台上进行供油均匀性的调整。(2)PT燃油系统存在的缺点1)NH、N及K系列机上采用的PT泵，由于除了PTG调速器外还装有MVS调速器，增压机型还装有AFC控制器，故结构上仍比较复杂。2)PT燃油系统的喷油器由于采用转矩调整法调整，如调整不当时可能引起燃油雾化不良，排气严重冒黑烟和功率下降，有时甚至可能将喷嘴压坏，导致喷油器油嘴脱落。3)PT泵需在专用的PT燃油泵试验台上进行安装调试，使用中仍感不便。
