机在运转中，机油压力表有时会出现指针左右摆动的现象，说明主油道的润滑油压力不稳，应立即停机组检查。(1)机油泵吸入空气 当油底壳润滑油油量不足，而且机在高低不平的地面上运行时，集滤器可能会露在润滑油外，此时机油泵就会吸入空气，引起润滑油压力波动。另外，机油泵泵体与泵盖及缸体间的纸垫破损或未压紧时以及集滤器与机油泵的连接处未压紧，也会使机油泵吸入空气。(2)旁通阀频繁开启 当机油弗列加滤清器堵塞，而且旁通阀弹簧疲劳软化或者调整不当时，其开启压力较小，导致润滑油压力稍有上升时，旁通阀就会开启，润滑油压力降低后，旁通阀又关闭。此时，润滑油压力会由于旁通阀频繁开启和关闭而产生波动。(3)机油压力调节阀频繁开启 当机油压力调节阀的滚珠(柱塞)锈蚀、阀座偏磨或者弹簧严重变形时，机油压力调节阀就会产生卡滞现象，即不能随着润滑油压力的变化灵敏地开启或关闭，而是间歇性地时开时关，此时会出现压力忽高忽低的现象。另外，当机油压力调节阀弹簧疲劳软化或者调整不当时，其开启压力较小，当润滑油压力上升时，阀门就会开启，而当润滑油压力降低后，阀门又关闭，压力又上升，从而导致润滑油压力波动。(4)机油压力表或传感器故障 当机油压力表或传感器有故障时，会出现润滑油压力指示值波动的现象。(5)机油压力表与传感器的接线接触不良 如果机油压力表与传感器的相关接线接触不良或者松动，会导致测量回路中的阻值不断发生变化，从而使机油压力表的指示值产生波动的现象。
