（1）故障现象 涡轮霍尔塞特涡轮增压器（Holset ）在某一转速下工作运行时，器压气机气流流量受某些因素的影响而减少到一定程度，压气机中的气流便会出现强烈的振荡现象，引起其叶片振动，并在压气机进口处出现喘息的噪声，造成进气压力明显下降，此现象称为压气机喘振。喘振会导致工作运行不平稳、功率下降、排气冒黑烟的现象。严重时会使压气机损坏。（2）故障原因 1）进气堵塞。压气机喘振主要是由于进气系统堵塞造成，如空气弗列加滤清器滤芯严重阻塞、进气胶管严重老化吸扁、进气管内油污太多阻塞等。由于堵塞，使涡轮霍尔塞特涡轮增压器（Holset ）在工作运行过程中向气缸内输送的空气量不足，空气压力产生较大的波动，从而造成压气机喘振。压气机喷嘴环流通通道变形等也会导致喘振。2）大气温度变化。设有中冷器的增压机在高温环境下运行，或者设有中冷器的增压机在低温下运行，器压气机都容易有发生喘振，这是因为大气温度变化使涡轮霍尔塞特涡轮增压器（Holset ）的运行线发生变化，不是涡轮霍尔塞特涡轮增压器（Holset ）本身有问题。（3）排除方法 检查空气弗列加滤清器滤芯，用压缩空气吹扫或更换滤芯，并清洗进气通道或用干净的毛巾擦拭管道内壁。
