概述
工频电压、雷电冲击电压和操作冲击电压试验,其所施加的试验电压值,只是考核了产品能否经受住各种过电压的作用。但是,这种过电压值的试验与运行中长期工作电压的作用是有区别的,经受住了过电压试验的产品,能否在长期工作电压作用下保证安全运行,还需要进行局部放电试验。
所谓“局部”是指绝缘介质就其整个厚度上并非“贯穿”,只是在厚度的一个局部产生放电现象。由于局部放电的能里很小,一般仪表上不会显示出来。
局部放电的发生,有下列几个因素:
1)电场过于集中于某点。
2)固休介质有气泡,有害杂质未除净。
3)油中含水、含气、有悬浮微粒。

绝缘内部的局部放电虽然不形成贯穿性通道,但放电会产生热量,使介质出现局部的温度升高,甚至碳化。另外,由于放电的电解作用,会产生一些活性气体(如臭氧、一氧化氮和二氧化氮等),它们对绝缘有腐蚀作用。可见,局部放电的持续发展,会逐渐造成绝缘的损伤,促使绝缘的老化,甚至后导致整个绝缘的击穿。
