(1)故障现象 某部一机组用C系列机，行驶过程中发现冷却液温度过高，经检查发现冷却液过少，添加到规定值后，继续行驶。半小时以后，水温又偏高，停机组检查时，冷却液又减少了。检查发现散热器下部有漏水现象，对其进行焊接后，试机发现冷却液温度正常，冷却液也没有过量减少现象。但是该机组行驶过后，又出现散热器漏水和冷却液温度过高的现象。(2)故障查找分析 显然，这起冷却液温度过高的故障是由于散热器中冷却液泄漏导致的，而散热器芯屡次破损可能是由于质量较差或者是冷却系统压力过高造成的。经过检查，排除了第一种原因。接下来查找压力的来源。如果是气缸内的高压气体进入散热器，那么机工作运行时，散热器内应有较多水泡逸出，因此旋掉散热器盖后开机，没有发现异常现象。最后检查散热器盖上的空气一蒸汽阀，检查发现蒸汽阀被异物卡死。为了防止冷却液溅出，散热器的加水口平时用散热器盖盖住。但是由于机工作运行后温度升高，冷却液会产生水蒸气，从而使冷却系统的气压升高，如果冷却系统完全封闭，可能会胀裂散热器的芯子。因此，通常在散热器盖内安装空气—蒸汽阀。空气一蒸汽阀主要由蒸汽阀、空气阀和蒸汽排出管等部分组成。机正常工作运行时，蒸汽阀2和空气阀3均因弹簧的压力处于关闭，将冷却系统和大气隔开，防止水蒸气溢出，使冷却系统的压力稍高于大气的压力，从而提高冷却液的沸点，增大散热器与空气间的温差，提高了散热器的散热能力，这对于在高原和热带工作运行的机更为有利。当冷却系统内压过高时，蒸汽阀2被蒸汽压开，经蒸汽排出管1排出一部分水蒸气，使其内压降低，保护了散热器芯不至于被过高的内压胀裂。当冷却系统内压过低时，空气阀3被大气压力压开，外界空气经蒸汽排出管1进入散热器中，防止散热器的冷却液管被大气压力压瘪，因弹簧的预紧力不同，蒸汽阀和空气阀的开启压力也不同。一般蒸汽阀在散热器内压力比大气压力高出20～30kPa时开启。由于空气蒸汽阀的自动调压作用，闭式水冷系统的沸点较高，当冷却系统内蒸汽压力保持在130kPa时，水的沸点可提高到108℃，这使机机与空气间的温差增大，提高了散热能力和对气候条件的适应性，同时减少了冷却液的消耗。故目前散热器上普遍采用空气蒸汽阀。可知，当蒸汽阀无法开启，冷却系统内部压力过高时，会导致散热器芯损坏。在机的使用过程中，如果需要打开散热器盖进行检査，必须使冷却液温度低于50℃，否则就会出现的冷却液向外喷射而被烫伤的现象。(3)故障排除 焊接散热器并更换散热器盖总成后，故障排除。
