我国的电能计量方式有：
1)单相供电的用户装设单相电能计量装置，三相供电的用户装设三相电能计量装置。
2)低压供电用户，其负荷电流为80A及以下时，电能计量装置宜采用直接接入式；其负荷电流为80A以上时，宜采用经电流互感器接入式。
3)实行两部制电价的用户，宜装设大需量表。
4)对要考核功率因数的用户，应装设具有防倒机构的无功电能表。需要双向计量时，分别装设具有防倒机构的无功电能表；对装有无功补偿设备有可能向电网倒送无功电能的用户，可装设带防倒机构的反向无功电能表，或双向无功绝对值累加无功电能表。
5)高压供电的用户在高压侧计量。但对10kV供电，容量在500kVA及以下；35kV供电，容量在315kVA及以下的，可在低压侧计量，即高供低计方式。
6)执行分时电价的用户，装设具有分时计量功能的复费率有功、无功电能表。
7）有两路以上线路分别来自两个供电点或有两个受电点的用户，应分别装设电能计量装置。有送、受电量的地方电网和自备电厂的用户，应在并网点上分设送、受电能计量装置。
8)用户一个受电点内有不同电价类别的用电，应分别装设电能计量装置。
9)中性点接地的电网或三相负荷不平衡的计量装置应采用三相四线有功、无功电能表；中性点非有效接地的电网的计量装置可采用三相三线有功、无功电能表。
